THE LAFTER PARTY
THE LAFTER PARTY has a combined 40+ years of experience by its organizers. The event will be housed in THE WAITING ROOM, a cozy bar offering cocktails and live entertainment. This bar is the brain-child and most recent success of Big Citizen restauranteur and co-owner of previous Atlanta favorites such as The Lawrence, The RWBY, Wonderkid and now The Waiting Room - Darren Carr. Carrs approach to Atlanta dining has proven to be anything but boring.
The one thing that his restaurants have all had in common was an interesting and provocative approach on dining, decor and hospitality. The Waiting Room is no different. This 70s themed space identified as A Sensual Cocktail Lounge harkens back to a time and place that anyone and everyone was welcomed and certain to enjoy themselves.
The comedic arm however, will be managed and hosted by 20-year veteran DeMun Oakley who has appeared on NETFLIX, ROKU and holds a place in The Guinness World Records (for the longest run comedy performance by a group).
On Sunday, March 30th at 7PM Carr and Oakley will host the first LAFTER PARTY, located above BON TON at 674 Myrtle St NE in The Waiting Room. It will be a night to remember as recent internet sensation Henry Coleman is set to Headline, while local favorite, femme fatale Storhm Artiste will feature. Comedy shows this impressive usually take place in comedy clubs exclusively, however The Waiting Room cant wait to impress you by showing you it has the ability to present stellar jazz musicians as well as comedians. Parking is free and admission is $10. .
