Summer of Love: A Flower Power Rock Review

North East School of the Arts takes its audience on a trip back to the 1960s with SUMMER OF LOVE A FLOWER POWER ROCK REVUE, the third musical theater production of NESA's 2013-2014 season. SUMMER OF LOVE features music by The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Sam Cooke, The Beach Boys, Janis Joplin, The Ronettes, The Supremes, Aretha Franklin, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Simon & Garfunkel, Creedance Clearwater Revival, Jimi Hendrix, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, The Hollies, The Zombies, Neil Young, The 5th Dimension, and from the musical Hair. Performers, musicians, classic rock songs and video projections combine to lead the audience through the struggles, triumphs, protests and tragedies of the 1960s.
The performance dates are May 1st through 3rd 7:30pm and May 4th at 2:30 pm. All performances are at the Robert E. Lee High School Theatre.
