Seventh Annual East Meets West: April 19, 2025 5:30 pm
This 7th annual East meets West event is a fundraiser for the Himat peace-building and poverty alleviation initiative in the Hunza and Khanewal regions of Pakistan. It is an evening of music and poetry focused on the theme of the oneness of the human family and featuring the mystic and wisdom traditions of the East and their counterparts in Indigenous and western cultural forms. Also included is a wonderful international sit-down meal.
You can enjoy this event for the ticket price of $70. Only 150 tickets will be sold. It will be important to buy your tickets early as this event has sold out in previous years.
Dinner will begin service at 5:30 pm so please come early. The concert begins at 6:45 pm.
Both Alberta folk legend John Wort Hannam as well as Prashant John and the World Music Collective are headlining the show. Dinner is generously being provided by the caterers who have served us for so many years.
