Ithaca League of Women Rollers 2014 Season Opener: Double Header with the SufferJets and the BlueStockings
The Ithaca League of Women Rollers' 2014 flat track roller derby season kicks off with a double header when the Ithaca BlueStockings match up against Connecticut Roller Girls Yankee Brutals and the Ithaca SufferJets take on their neighbors of the North, Buffalo's Queen City all-star team, the Lake Effect Furies, Saturday, May 10, 2014.
This will be a first-time match-up for the BlueStocking and Yankee Brutals, while the last time the SufferJets and Furies teams met was last summer at the Franky Panky Invitational in Tampa, FL. The Furies came away with a close win but the SufferJets are ready to claim victory this time.
This thrilling season opener is sure to bring the best hard-hitting action roller derby has to offer. All are welcome!
This is our seventh season in Ithaca and we can proudly say that roller derby is here to stay! Returning and new fans alike can expect exciting, fast, and revolutionary roller derby at our community-oriented home games. We showcase local talent, local organizations, and provide a fun, accessible sporting event for all ages.

General Admission Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door for adults, and $5 for kids 12 an under.
There are bleachers for seating and you can bring chairs or cushions to sit on trackside.
