*Sensory Friendly Date- April 13*

"h_art[work]" (pr. 'Heartwork') is a collective musing on disenfranchised grief through the lens of movement performance. Existing at the intersection of experimental circus, poetry, performance art and dance, the work operates as a collective catharsis for a community by and large neglected by mainstream representations (and therefore social standards) of grief & mourning. An ensemble of artists pull the curtain back on how grief is found, felt, and held when it exists outside the mainstream social tapestry. Set in a Dali-esque fever dream garden, performers must navigate tending to themselves, each other, and the garden itself without guidance or support from the outside world.

Company Info:
Formed in 2020, Such Creatures supports the collective investigations of Trans & Gender Non-conforming and neurodivergent movement artists invested in expanding the scope of queer artistic narratives through movement experiment and performance. Existing at the intersection of dance and circus arts, the collective utilizes a vast spectrum of movement in the interest of discovering various extensions of the self, presented to audiences in multidisciplinary experiences with a commitment to radical accessibility and visibility. The work of Such Creatures can be defined by the phrase: Trans Audacity.
