German Songs From The Heart

The Boston Saengerfest Men's Chorus concludes the season on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 5pm with German Songs From the Heart, in which we'll present Johannes Brahms's stunning Alto Rhapsody in collaboration with acclaimed mezzo-soprano Sylvia Leith as our soloist and Boston-based Burbank String Quartet. This concert will connect Brahms's music and life to his contemporaries Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, Felix Mendelssohn, Clara & Robert Schumann, and Franz Schubert.
