Songs of Hope - 20th Anniversary Gala Concert
Seattle Children's Chorus presents the glorious sounds of 200 young voices who gather to celebrate the organization's 20th Anniversary. All four choir levels, along with vocal soloists and guest instrumentalists Brass Reflections, will premier exquisite new choral pieces composed and arranged for treble and youth voices. The choirs will feature a commissioned work by nationally recognized composer, Stephen Paulus. The performance will also include new folk song and spiritual arrangements by local composers Richard Nance, head of choral department at PLU; Karen P. Thomas, artistic director of Seattle Pro Musica; local composer, Alicia Lewis; and SCC alum, Rebecca Kreutz. A fabulous array of choral sounds under artistic director, Kris Mason.
Tickets: $22 for adults, $17 for students and seniors General Admission
