Vancouvers Hot Club of Mars has been swinging for quite a few spins around the sun (a few dozen Earth years or so), though things really started heating up when chanteuse Deanna Knight landed on Martian soil. This high-energy acoustic jazz group inspires toe-tapping and swing dancing with some fabulous old Gypsy jazz tunes of the 20s, 30s and 40s, plus off-beat new music and unforgettable songs with uniquely infectious rhythms. Adding a magic sparkle to the sound, D also writes tunes with as much pizzazz as when she delivers them!
