May 2014 Minnesota Green Chemistry Forum Happy Hour
Target: Retail Leader to Sustainability Leader
Featuring: Kate Heiny, Senior Group Manager of Sustainability, Target
There is a growing consumer demand for more sustainable products and solutions, and retailers play a critical role in designing and encouraging the needed sustainable market transformation to meet the demand.
In support of Target's commitment to expand their selection of sustainable product choices that effectively balance price, performance and convenience, Target developed the Sustainable Product Standard - a common language, definition and process for qualifying 'more' sustainable products within top priority categories. Join us to learn about Target's holistic approach to sustainability and how the Target Sustainable Product Standard is just one example of how Target integrates sustainability in all areas of their business, from the way stores are built to the products on their shelves.
*Appetizers included* *Cash Bar*
There will be plenty of free, off-street parking available in the Holiday Inn's parking lot.
