Songwriter Courtney Anne Yasmineh has made ten albums of her own unique brand of confessional, inspiring, gritty, and sometimes funny Folk and Americana music. This is her first performance at Ginkgo Coffeehouse even though her alma mater Macalester College is just down the road, and she comes to us by way of many American and European tours and many years of honing her craft as storyteller and singer. Courtney has a first published novel that chronicles her mythic backstory of a seventeen year old who ran away from her troubled family to the Northwoods of Minnesota and there became enamored with the recordings of native son Bob Dylan who she sights as one of her greatest influences. www.courtneyyasmineh.com
