WASHINGTON RHINESTONE CLUB ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP LUNCHEON
RADIANT, RESILIENT, & RESOLVED
Washington Rhinestone Club, a non-profit organization, serving the greater Seattle community for over 70 years. Our mission is to acknowledge, enhance, and support the academic achievements of African American young ladies who have committed to attending an institution of higher learning upon completion of high school.
Our work is accomplished through hosting regular workshops on topics such as; College 101 - Preparing a Competitive College Essay, Health & Wellness Breast & Cervical Cancer education, Financial Awareness & Empowerment, Etiquette, and Career Options & Vision Boards throughout their Junior and Senior year of Highschool. At the end of the program, each of the young ladies are formally recognized for their educational accomplishments and volunteerism at our Annual Debutante Ball. At the Ball, we seek to provide each young lady assistance with educational expenses in the form of a scholarship or book awards.
We invite you to support these young ladies by attending our annual fundraising luncheon where we will enjoy a delicious meal, hear dynamic speakers and dash for desserts!
