A Concert for Kids with Cancer!-Concert pour enfants atteints du cancer
Come join us for the 4th edition of the Concert for Kids with Cancer!!
Léandre Gaucher is a 16-year-old violinist and brain cancer survivor. On December 27th, 2018, Léandre was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour and immediately underwent surgery, followed by radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Playing the violin gave Léandre great comfort throughout his journey and he has continued to play but with a purpose. On May 3rd, 2025 Léandre will perform alongside his brother Audrick and other young classical musicians at the Valois United Church in Pointe-Claire, to raise money for kids with cancer at the Montreal Childrens Hospital , through Sarahs Fund for Cedars. With this concert, Léandre hopes to give back and help other young cancer patients while raising awareness of childhood cancer. All are welcome!

Venez nous joindre pour la 4ième edition du Concert pour enfants atteints du cancer
Léandre Gaucher est un violoniste âgé de 16 ans qui est aussi un survivant du cancer du cerveau. Le 27 décembre 2018, il a reçu un diagnostic selon lequel il avait une tumeur maligne au cerveau; il a sur-le-champ subi une chirurgie, suivie de traitements de radiothérapie et de chimiothérapie. La pratique du violon sest avérée très réconfortante pour Léandre tout au long de son expérience du cancer; il fait encore de la musique, mais il a aussi un objectif en tête. Le 3 mai 2025, Léandre va se produire avec son frère Audrick et dautres jeunes interprètes de musique classique à léglise Valois United à PointeClaire. Ce concert vise à recueillir de largent pour le Fonds de Sarah des Cèdres, qui apporte son soutien aux enfants atteints de cancer traités à lHôpital de Montréal pour enfants. Avec ce concert, Léandre souhaite redonner à la société et aider dautres patients atteints de cancer, en sensibilisant la population à lexistence du cancer infantile.
Cette année, nous sommes ravis d'avoir Sean Henry, lanimateur de l'émission matinale Daybreak de CBC Radio Montréal, comme hôte de la soirée.
