Sign Man Red Carpet Movie Premiere
Beacon Trail Studios and MTO Films present the World Premiere of the new short film "Sign Man", followed by a live Q&A with the cast! The event is open to all ages 8 & up. *THIS RED CARPET EVENT IS DRESSY/BUSINESS CASUAL - SO PLEASE DRESS TO IMPRESS! (No jeans, sneakers, or logo t-shirts). Thank you!
This will be a benefit for the homeless, with a portion of ticket sales being donated to Columbus House in New Haven, CT. Columbus House offers a broad array of programs and services for individuals, families with children, and Veterans who are experiencing homelessness in Hartford, Middlesex, New Haven, and New London counties in Connecticut.
We are also very excited to be teaming with the all-volunteer organization Alexander's Angels which furthers the awareness of Down syndrome and supports research. They are acting as an associate producer on "Sign Man". Our film features Mary L. Mathis, an actress with Down syndrome in a supporting role, with Alexander Gomez-Nieto (the name sake of this organization) in a background role in the film. There are also several other actors with Down syndrome appearing in the film as background actors. We are proud to support individuals with Down syndrome, and to offer them opportunities in our films and TV projects.
BONUS! We will be showing the new micro-short film "Milk & Cookies" prior to the "Sign Man" feature presentation, so attendees will get to be the first to see 2 movies!
