MSDB The Lab: "Bedroom Rope Bondage- Getting Started" for January
Looking to spice things up in the bedroom with rope?
ChiefHelium will cover a range of essential topics for anyone wanting to break into the wild world of rope bondage.
This class will be going over the following:
- What types of rope are used for bondage, and how to determine which one is right for you. Natural or synthetic? Braided or twisted? What about strength, comfort, maintenance, or ease of cleaning?
- Basic rope safety- Safety scissors, circulation, nerves, consent, communication!
- Single column ties- How to safely attach rope to a limb, a torso, or an object!
- Double column ties- How to attach two columns together- in any combination of limbs, torsos, and objects!
- Hitches- How to attach the other end of a rope to a point. A ring, a bedpost, a spanking bench, or anything you can think of.
- Building a harness- using what we've learned to create our own chest and hip harnesses!
- The double coin knot- a first step into the world of decorative knot tying!

What to bring:
-Any rope you have, but recommended length is 15-30 feet, and thickness should be 1/4-3/8 inch diameter.

ChiefHelium is a retired Navy Instructor with a passion for rope. He got his start tying people up in Hawaii, and has taught basic rope classes for several local groups in Minnesota. He is currently a moderator for Minnesota Protocal and Minnesota Primal Pack.
