Hurricane Katrina may have occurred a year ago, but the challenges for the local restaurant community continue.
Following a volunteer stint in New Orleans, Chef Peter Jackson (Aqua Terra Convivium Member) was so moved by the obstacles that restaurateurs in New Orleans are facing, he is volunteering to spearheaded this fundraising effort.
So save the date, Saturday, September 9, 7 p.m., for a New Orleans-style dinner to raise funds for the Crescent City Restaurant Rebirth Project to help the city's restaurants through this period.
