Make & Take: Holiday Ornament Painting

Use acrylic paint to decorate your own Christmas tree ornaments with painter Kristina Kernytska.

Students will learn:

- How to paint with acrylic on ornaments

- Get to know different painting techniques and tools

- Basic knowledge of creating volumetric paintings

Students will take home their own painted ornaments.

Ages 8 years and up.

Painting might get messy so be sure and wear clothes that can get some paint on them or bring a smock to class.

Kristina Kernytska is an oil and acrylic artist and painting instructor. She is a member of The Artery in Davis and Monterey Peninsula Art Foundation. Kristina takes an active part in various art events in Davis, such as Art Tour, and conducts workshops for different age groups. She also conducts private lessons.
