Lightspeed Film Exhibition
Our mission is to showcase the outstanding filmmaking talent found right here on Vancouver Island, offering audiences a chance to experience the creativity of local filmmakers.
Lightspeed Film Exhibition was created by Neal Cropper and Leonard Farr, inspired by conversations about the challenges that local filmmakers face in bringing their work to the public.
For our inaugural event, were thrilled to present four incredible films:
Disc Jockey - Director: Leonard Farr
The Yellow Koki (Animated) - Director: Denver Jackson
The Clean Up - Writer/Director: Ben LaBarre
Happy - Directors/Editors: Adonis Johnston and Ben Kerr
A Q&A session with some of the filmmakers will follow the screenings.
Note: A $2 membership fee for The Vic Theatre will be added to each ticket, allowing you to view unrated films.
