"Proof" is a Pulitzer Prize-winning play centered on Catherine, a young woman caring for her brilliant and mentally unstable father, Robert. After his death, a groundbreaking mathematical proof is found in his notebooks, leading to questions about its authorship and authenticity. Catherine's sister Claire muddies the waters with her attempts to control Catherine, and Robert's former grad student, Hal, searches for Robert's legacy but uncovers much more than he expected..
