As the nights grow longer and the mysteries of autumn unfold, we invite families to explore together the mysteries of decay and transformation in the context of the Celtic festival Samhain. This Halloween experience is designed for children up to 8.5 years old, offering a unique blend of shadow theatre, storytelling, arts, and movement.
In preparation for the Winter ahead, we will embrace darkness through blindfold games (enhancing the feeling of trust) or coldness through imaginative activities of mimicking animals preparing for hibernation. Captivating stories and a sprinkle of environmental education will enhance our appreciation for the beauty and importance of decay in the natural world. Learning about the interconnectedness of life, death, and rebirth in nature will also help us manage our fear of death.
Expect Shadow Theatre! Delve into the unknown asking the question, "Whats behind the thin veil?" while watching your childrens stories come to life in the flickering shadows.!
