Bill Posley's The Day I Accidentally Went to War (Hollywood)
BILL POSLEY IS BACK! From the award-winning comedy team behind Off-Broadway smash hit The Day I Became Black (Off Broadway Alliance Best Solo Performance; International Fringe Selection @Soho Playhouse) comes this hilarious and powerful true story about the American Veteran experience.

Are YOU ready to be gut punched, jaw dropped and mind blown- all the while rolling your ass on that floor dying laughing to another chapter of Bills unbelievable story?! I hope so soldier, because this time, we are going to WAR. Prepare to be transported to Bills past, the good, the bad, the ugly of it all.

No one wins and breaks hearts like writer/comedian Bill Posley (Netflix's Kobra Kai, Apple TVs Shrinking). Some people accidentally miss their bus stop, some accidentally misplace their keys, but Bill? In The Day I Accidentally Went to War he will take you on a roller coaster journey to his childhood traumas to real life combat and back. Packed with laughs, gasps and all the feels, this show bares brutal truths, honors the Veteran experience, and celebrates the human spirit. Dont miss it!

"Bill Posley is one of the most talented writer / performers working today. His show brought all the laughs and then had the audience in tears by the end. Very powerful stuff  highly recommend."
-LAURA MORAN, HFF24

"Bill Posley performs a poignant, emotional and hilarious solo show that goes into the veteran experience in ways Ive never experienced. It was an incredible performance, and I couldnt recommend it more."
-ANDREW HENDRON, HFF24

"If you were fortunate enough to catch Bill Posleys THE DAY I BECAME BLACK a few years ago, youd know that hes a powerhouse performer. Bill has boundless charm, spot-on delivery, incredible storytelling skills, and a writing style to be envied. He writes material that makes you laugh, makes you cry, makes you think.

If you didnt see that show, Im happy to say that hes back with a new one. And all the praise in the former paragraph still applies. You should see THE DAY I ACCIDENTALLY WENT TO WAR as soon as you can.

Posley is a veteran of the Iraq war. His show paints a vivid and emotional picture of the good, the bad and the ugly of it all. Using visuals to highlight and often drive home his theme and experiences, he pulls you in immediately. Acting as a drill sergeant/comrade Posley bring you and your surrounding audience together as a unit. You go through Basic, experience heart break and success, learn, and ponder some deep issues that America seems to still refuse to deal with.
This saying can come often across as pretentious and political, but I mean it in the most emotional and empathic way: If youre an American, you need to see this show.
VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED"
