TES Queer Gardening
Gardening and socialising in nature for queer people. The session will be very relaxed, no experience is necessary and all are welcome! You can come for the whole session or drop-in when suits you. Bring warm clothes and lunch :)

Accessibility
The garden is wheelchair accessible via the Gracemount Mansion grounds. There are no stairs to enter, although there is a slope; if you use a manual wheelchair and need assistance, we are available to help. The garden itself is mostly flat and has a combination of even and uneven paths, wide enough for wheelchairs, with surfaces made of gravel or grass. There are a few elevated planters and tables for people to garden while sitting on a chair. The indoor portacabin space is step-free and there is a gender neutral, accessible toilet on site. There is limited parking available outside the mansion. Support and assistance dogs are welcome.
For newcomers, directions to the garden can be easily found by searching Gracemount Mansion or Gracemount Community Garden on Google Maps. As you enter the mansion grounds, you'll spot a portacabin on your left, with the garden just behind it through an archway in the wall.
Gracemount Community Garden is a public space, people may come and go throughout the day.
As a community space, the group is actively working on making the garden more accessible and welcomes any requests or feedback to better accommodate the diverse needs of participants. Please get in touch if you have any questions or concerns regarding accessibility.
