The Works: Reconnected marks the second iteration of the Guild Dance Company's celebrated showcase, The Works. This vibrant collection features multidisciplinary dance pieces created by Guild company members, emerging and established choreographers, and guest performers from the wider Seattle dance community. Audiences can expect a diverse range of performances, including Hip Hop, Ballet, Contemporary, dance films, and more.

This year's collection centers on the return of the Guild Dance Company to its community as well as the joy of dance, diversity, and storytelling. The show takes audiences on a journey through themes of identity, community, resilience, and overcoming. The Works: Reconnected will have a work in progress showing on Saturday, October 19th at YAW Theater. Highlights include performances by SLOWBURN Dance Company as well as a captivating dance film by Kelli Carnes and brand-new pieces by Guild company members Prasti Purdum, Juliet Waller Pruzan, Shayley Timm and Guild Director, Alex Ung.

Join us for the Works: Reconnected for an enjoyable evening of storytelling and triumph through a shared love of movement. The dynamic collaboration spotlights the artistic excellence of Seattle's dance scene all while celebrating the community's spirit and resilience.
