Kevin McDonald Sketch Workshop

Kevin McDonald of Kids in the Hall is coming to CIC to teach a two-day sketch workshop!

The workshop will take place Saturday and Sunday, June 25th and 26th, from 10am-5:30pm.
Students will perform sketches in a show directed and hosted by Kevin on Sunday, June 26th at 8pm. Kevin will also perform stand-up and do an improv set as part of the show.

The Workshop-
Each student will come in with one comedy sketch that they have written.

After Kevin shares his experiences and all he's learned writing sketch comedy, each student will have their sketch read in class, and Kevin will give feedback. When all the sketches are read, students will have time to re-write their sketches. That process will continue until at the end of the first day, you have polished and refined your sketch with the help of KEVIN MCDONALD!

On Sunday, the group will work on, rehearse and have run-throughs of chosen sketches until they are ready to perform that night. Every student in the class will be part of rewriting, rehearsing, and performing on Sunday, under Kevin's direction.

This is an opportunity to collaborate on your material with legend of sketch comedy!
