LIFE WASTE: A Bio-gas Musical by Valley Traction
FREE TICKETS! This performance takes place at the Dickinson College Farm in Boiling Springs, PA
Show at 7pm, Tour of biogas facility at 6pm (optional)
LIFE WASTE: A Bio-gas Musical is a new performative work-in-progress created by Valley Traction. It is a story about organic farmers, alternative energy, circular systems and the challenges and triumphs of sustainability, all told through the format of punk-folk-rock original songs.
This experimental production taps the talents of local musicians, farmers, students, artists, and carpenters; solar cells and biogas bladders; and a whole lot of recycling. It is a parable of sorts (based on real life) that asks more questions than we can answer: Where does energy come from? What else can it become? How is it part of our lives? Join us to delve into the complex and often humorous stuff that powers the world.
This performance is made possible through the generous support of the CCLA, CSE, South Mountain Partnership, The Carlisle Tool Library, and the Dickinson College Farm.
