Shake the Hand that Feeds You XVI
**If you are no longer able to purchase tickets, please email markanthony@slowfoodcolumbus.org immediately to be placed on a waitlist. Additional seats will be added to this ticketing site should they become available. Ticket sales will remain open until we reach maximum capacity.**
Shake the Hand that Feeds You is the largest fundraiser event that we plan. In particular, it raises funds for our local Slow Food chapter, which we use to support community gardens/farms and food-related events throughout the year.
This year, a portion of the net proceeds raised from this event will be shared with our hosts, the Mid-Ohio Farm on the Hilltop, where we will be gathering alongside other Slow Food members and supporters to recognize all the work that farmers, producers, and cooks are putting in to make good, clean, and fair food available to all.

5-6pm: Pizza Appetizer Course by Chef Nick Gore of GoreMade Pizza Visit the grounds of the Mid-Ohio Farm on the Hilltop
6-9pm: Seated dinner
Starter Course: Beef raviolo with duxelles and tomato cream (contains chevre) by Chef Jay Cotrell of Mid-Ohio Food Collective
Main Course: Chicken entrée with pawpaw stuffing and Oktoberfest lager and maple leaf velouté by Chef Kris Ludwig of Wolf's Ridge Brewing
Salad Course: Mid-Ohio Farm greens salad with pawpaw dressing by Private Chef Zac Huffines
Cheese Course: Beer-cheese fondue by Chef David Plonowski of El Pica Flor Kitchen, with Dan the Baker double sesame
Dessert Course: Dark chocolate and fleur de sel* caramel brownie with passion fruit mousse and cacao nibs* by Chapter Leader Mark Anthony Arceño
Bread service by Dan the Baker Duo of Snowville Creamery heavy cream-churned butter, flavored with Ras El Hanout and Smoky Picatta salt* Wine pairings and direction by Patrick Allen of Patrick Allen Selections

**REGARDING MEMBERSHIP PRICING**
If you are a paid member of Slow Food USA and affiliated with Slow Food Columbus or any other Slow Food Chapter, note that you are eligible for special Member pricing for this event! To receive the discount code needed to activate the Member option, please contact Chapter Leader Mark Anthony Arceno (markanthony@slowfoodcolumbus.org) with your Slow Food Member ID number.
If you are not a paid member of Slow Food, but would like to join and receive reduced pricing for this event, please visit https://slowfoodusa.org/become-a-member/ to join or renew your membership. Once you have completed this, email Mark Anthony with your membership information.

**REGARDING DONATIONS**
We cannot accept donations at this time through this outline platform. Should you be interested in donating to Slow Food Columbus and/or providing a tip to our chefs, we welcome you to do so in person at the event.
