Shake the Hand that Feeds You XVI
*** Today - September 12th - is the first of two Give What You Can Days! All day long, you can become a member of our community for any dollar amount. We want to make sure were all able to come together and strengthen our momentum toward good, clean and fair food FOR ALL. Visit our social media pages or contact our Chapter Leader at markanthony@slowfoodcolumbus.org for the link! ***

Shake the Hand that Feeds You is the largest fundraiser event that we plan. In particular, it raises funds for our local Slow Food chapter, which we use to support community gardens/farms and food-related events throughout the year.

This year, we will gather at Mid-Ohio Farm on the Hilltop, joining with other Slow Food members and supporters to recognize all the work that farmers, producers, and cooks are putting in to make good, clean, and fair food available to all.

Return to this page and our website for the most updated information. In the meantime, we are thrilled to share our menu as it unfolds:

5-6pm: Pizza Appetizer by Chef Nick Gore of GoreMade Pizza
Visit the grounds of the Mid-Ohio Farm on the Hilltop

6-9pm: Seated dinner

Course 1 by Chef Jay Cotrell of Mid-Ohio Farm Collective
Course 2 (salad) by Private Chef Zac Huffines
Course 3 (main) by Kris Ludwig of Wolf's Ridge Brewing
Course 4 (collaborative dish)

Dessert course by Chapter Leader Mark Anthony Arceño

Wine pairings and direction by Patrick Allen of Patrick Allen Selections
