Cabaret MKE is back with, "Frische, Frei, Stark, Treu: A Puppet History of The Milwaukee Turners!" Join us for a deep dive into all the history you never knew about your favorite local venue. From when the first Turners arrived in 1848 through 1910 when Card carrying members Emil Seidel & Daniel Hoan won their first elections. From abolition to women's suffrage to militant labor to the birth of modern socialism, The Milwaukee Turners have been at the front of America's most progressive movements. This story could not be more current as we approach what could be the most consequential election of our time. What's more, we're doing it with a stunning collection of hand made, bunraku style puppets!
