Calling Forth the Mythic Fire: An Evening of Wild Storytelling
"Grandfather Fire is the carrier of all the stories"
Please join Storyteller Brian Rohr as we engage in one of the oldest acts known to humans: listening to the old stories as a community shared in the ways of the oral tradition.
In his performance, Calling Forth the Mythic Fire: An Evening of Wild Storytelling, Rohr invites the listener to follow the ageless wisdom inherent in the old stories. By calling on the mysterious energies of Grandfather Fire to hold this sacred evening, we may find ourselves being swept away to a time before time began. Utilizing the drum and the spoken word, Rohr helps us journey to a place where we ourselves live, breath and dance among the ancient tales.
