Rip Micheals has been named Comedian of the Year 2 times with the Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities (APCA) , American Comic Awards College Entertainer of the Year, USO and MWR Comedian of the Year 2008, 2009, and 2011, Bay Area Comedy Competition Winner 2013.

He has performed at over 30 military bases, and has taken over the college circuit by performing at more than 200 colleges and university. Along with taping his One Man Show at the Mohegan Sun with a sold out 12,500 arena, Rip Micheals has been on Law Order Criminal Intent on USA & NBC, Showtime at the Apollo, NBC Comics Unleashed, Bet 106 and Park (3x), WildOut Weds (Champion), BET Comic View, HBO Bad Boys Of Comedy, Peoples Court, Judge Joe Brown, Judge Judy, Judge Mathis, Judge Piro, Judge Alex, Maury, Wendy Williams, MTV Punkd, Boiling Point, Becoming, Wannabees, and many MTV spring breaks and beach house shows. His Movie credits are: Men In Black 3, Love Don't Cost A Thing, Players Ball. And coming this year 2014 Nurse Jackie, Wild'n Out season #6, Starz Channel STAANNDUP! to name a few.

Rip Micheals has host weekly A list concerts and opening and/or featuring on A list comedy shows. To name just a few He has opened for and /or toured with Kevin Hart, Martin Lawrence, Monique, Cedric the Entertainer, Ron White Bernie Mac, plus many more. On the concert side He has shared the stage with Lady GaGa, The Scream Tour, The Watch The Throne Tour, Lady's Night Out Tour, Drake Rihanna, plus many more. He is a member of NACA and APCA and has hosted and performed countless times with each.
