DIY Skincare Workshop: Make Herbal Balms at Karma Co-op
Conducted by: Tracey Tief of Anarres Natural Health

Date: September 15, Sunday, 10 - 11:30am

Location: Karma Co-op at 739 Palmerston Ave. (on Karma Lane) - either held outdoors at the picnic and cafe tables in good weather or in The Members' Room inside the store in inclement weather.

Tuition: Tuition and Admission for this event are free and you can choose to donate a $10 minimum for materials - goes entirely to Tracey of Anarres Natural Health

Topic: In this workshop, Make Balms and Salves for Everything!, we'll discuss the ancient art and science of making salves, explore traditional ingredients and how they "work", then we'll make a balm to suit our purposes: for wounded, and/or rashy, and/or eczemic and/or blistered skin to take home.

You'll leave with an all-purpose balm we've made in class, and the knowledge and know-how to make your own healing balms from nearby herbs and #KarmaFoodCoop ingredients.

Open to all ages. Karma Co-op Members as well as the general public are welcome to sign up and attend. This workshop is part of a year-long series of Anarres workshops for 2024, with different topics on the second Sundays of each month.
Reserve your spot and sign up now. Space is limited to 10 participants.

Please wear a mask if we meet indoors so that our workshop is accessible to participants with vulnerabilities.

Note: Tracey will also be conducting a free-to-attend, interactive pop-up "Ask Me Anything... about Herbs for Skincare" after this workshop from noon to 2pm.

Anarres is a local supplier represented across Karmas selection of quality body care products, including essential oils and incense.
