THE AMUSEMENT PARK
An elderly gentleman goes for what he assumes will be an ordinary day at the amusement park, only to find himself in the middle of hellish nightmare instead. Commissioned in 1975 by the Lutheran Service Society of Western Pennsylvania as an educational film about elder abuse it opened at the American Film Festival in New York, did not receive further distribution and was thought lost until a 16mm copy was found recently. Clearly the do-gooder Lutherans had no idea what they were getting into when they commissioned George Romero, the master of horror (Night of the Living Dead, etc) to do an educational film.
Be careful what you wish for!
