On Friday, May 2nd....we proudly present #ILL. Poetry, Music and FUN in a beautiful venue!
Featuring a special performance by
Poet and Author, JOEL FLUENT GREENE. He will be reading from his new book, WAXING/waning as well as performing Detroit poetry classics and exciting new work.
The night will also feature a special opening performance by SPIRITUAL THERAPY (there is no way i could describe what you're in for...so i'll leave it as an ILL surprise).
AND THE 10 SPOT OPEN MIC. Arrive early to sign up. Poets on the list only pay a $5 cover charge.
PLUS Music by DJ EQUAD & THE DAVEY CROCKETT! That's right...2 DJ's. Expect to hear everything from HIP HOP, HOUSE, and SOUL to FUNK, ROCK and even AFROBEAT. We plan on vibing you out right...
