The Nomads

Lake Tahoes Rock Super Group, THE NOMADS, are back at Alibi Ale Works Truckee Public House Saturday 8/24.

The Nomads won BEST BAND last year at the Guitar Strings VS Chicken Wings battle of the bands event at Palisades Tahoe. They have quickly become a locals favorite band known for their over the top fireworks concerts at SnowFest, as well as, their infamous Rock the Barge show at Sunnyside Restaurant & Resort last summer.

Their shows feature a myriad of classic rock & metal songs from: Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Rolling Stones, Heart, The Scorpions, Aerosmith, Joan Jett, AC/DC, Judas Priest & more!

Band members include:

Powerhouse Rock Goddess front woman, Kandy Xander, from Metal Echo. She is also a featured singer for Moonlight Movement and a guest singer for the Blues. Monsters

Jeff Martin was the lead vocalist for Surgical Steel and Racer X , & Drummer for Badlands. He currently fronts Fortress, Priest/DC and drums for the Greg Golden Band

Local metal darlings Dave Hatchet & George Grass from 80s Metal cover band Fortress.

And local legend and founding member guitarist, Barry Thys, who re-formed the current Nomads lineup in 2020.
