The Anastasia Trials in the Court of Women
It is the opening night of the Emma Goldman Theatre Brigade's production of the Anastasia Trials in the Court of Women. Chaos ensues as a group of feminist thespians attempt to put their show because they refuse to put aside their politics and personal agendas.
This is a court room drama where the audience decides the verdict. On trial are the women who refused to acknowledge the identity of Russia's Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanov, youngest daughter of the last Czar.
The Anastasia Trials in the Court of Women was written by Carolyn Gage. It is directed by Lara D. Haberberger and the Assistant Director is Jennifer Gempka.
The play features Kerry Alsheimer, Kelly Beuth, Virginia Brannon, Marisa Caruso, Jane Cudmore, Heather Fangsrud, Sophie Howes, Diane McNamara and Theresa DiMuro-Wilber.
Show dates: May 1-3, 8,10, 15-17 at 7:30 pm and May 11 at 2 pm
