WHO'S LYING DOWN IN YOUR HEART? by Eva Poole-Gilson is a searing drama that examines two sisters who share a childhood filled with painful secrets. For mature audiences.
This live theatre/film hybrid production is directed by Traci Mettler-Bradbury and funded in part by the California Arts Council, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
The show is produced by Poetic Justice Project, in partnership with Allan Hancock College's Film & Video Department and the Women's Center-High Desert. Real-life sisters Rosemary and Tina Grace play sisters Ellen and Veronica in the play. Guillermo Willie plays Grampa.
Appearing on film are Poetic Justice Project actors Bull Chaney, Toni De La Guerra, Leonard Flippen, Jorge Manly Gil, Janet Guess, Alex Lopez, Renee Lopez, Barbara Reeger and Maux Samuel.
Poetic Justice Project is a theatre company of formerly incarcerated people based in Santa Maria.
