Grandfather Speaks
In addition to being an actor, playwright and director, Marc Clopton has for more than thirty years worked as a conscious channel and Shamanic empath. In this production, Marc presents stories from the ancestors that he has received over the past twelve years. Now crafted as a play, these stories are told by the character of The Grandfather in much the same fashion as healing stories told in sacred ceremony. Coming from a North American indigenous perspective, these stories include such themes as learning from nature, healing cultural wounds and celebrating diversity.
Directed by Charles Van Eman With over 25 years of experience as an actor on TV, film and stage in Los Angeles and New York, Charles brings a veteran actor's perspective to his directing. In addition to three novels, Charles has written two one-man plays; Beginner's Mind and Jack's Hat, and has served as co-writer and director on two seasons of Highrise, The Series. A partial list of his acting credits include: Prison Break, CSI Miami, Ghost Whisperer, All My Children, and The Colbys.
