9.7 Malignancy, Coffin Dust, Entrail Asphyxiation, Slice!, & Caesarean at Bonks
Malignancy from Yonkers NY come to Philly for the first time in 5 years in a remarkably intimate setting to demonstrate tracks from their new album "... discontinued" released only a few weeks ago via Willowtip Records. A staple in the global brutal death and tech death community, Malignancy have been hard at work creating a sound all their own for about 32 years. They've toured much of the U.S., and have had many excursions abroad, and them coming here in a smaller bar in Port Richmond of all places is nothing short of miraculous, and an opportunity to see the masters at work up close and personal.
Along with them will be all local support from the likes of Coffin Dust - Philadelphia's longest running active death metal outfit; Entrail Asphyxiation - brutal goregrinding youngsters comprised of members from Philadelphia and Maryland; Slice! - veteran musicians from many Philadelphia and South Jersey grind and metal bands now playing delicatessen goregrind; and Caesarean - still freshly on the circuit and hand carving their own name for themselves, playing raging death metal with thrashing and melodic influence. All bands delivering unique blows of absurdly punishing auditory abuse, attacking the listener from many different angles.
The event is 21+, no exceptions. You will present ID upon arrival. If you or anybody you have purchased tickets for are underage, you will be denied entry with no refund.
