The Diary of Dan Franke
The first play by Yellow Sign Theatre Resident Artist Tyler Agatstein, The Diary of Dan Franke is the story of an American stoner in Amsterdam who finds himself confronting more than his own history when trapped in the Anne Frank House museum.
Addressing issues of personal and group identity, the commercialization of history, and the prisons we lock ourselves in, The Diary of Dan Franke is a war of words between an unreliable hero and his opportunistic biographer, fought on the treacherous battlefields of history and memoir.
Also, it's a Yellow Sign Theatre show, so be prepared for huge numbers of jokes that offend for a purpose. Or just offend...depends on you, we guess.
While there is no Yellow Sign "Splash Zone" in this show, this play is not for children or the faint of heart.
