A native of China, Fei-Fei Dong is a master of music degree student at Juilliard where she studies with Dr. Yoheved Kaplinsky. She gave her debut recital in 2000 at the age of ten, and her orchestra concert debut with the Macau Youth Symphony Orchestra at the age of 13, playing Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3. She has since appeared with the Aspen Music Festival, Hong Kong, Shanxi, and Shenzhen symphony orchestras and the Juilliard Orchestra. She has made debuts in Alice Tully Hall, Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall, and the Louvre Auditorium, and has been featured multiple times on New York's WQXR radio. Ms. Dong was among the top six finalists in the 2013 Van Cliburn Competition, and her inaugural season as a Cliburn finalist includes debuts with the Corpus Christi and Big Spring symphony orchestras in Texas with conductor John Giordano and recital appearances across the United States. In 2011, she won Juilliard's concerto competition and performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 with the Juilliard Orchestra, conducted by Jeffrey Kahane. Ms. Dong also was a semi-finalist in the 16th Chopin International Piano Competition in 2010 and has been the recipient of many other awards, including the 2012 Gina Bachauer Piano Competition.
