You Showgirl: Hair Fascinators with Holly Dai

May 20 from 6:00-7:30 pm

Holly Dai, Portland's long legged lovely, is in Tucson teaching for one day only! In this 90 minute workshop you'll learn how to get showgirl style at poor girl prices! Learn to create hair pieces from found objects, use bases to expand pieces and create height as well as safety tips and tricks.
Students will be getting crafty and are encouraged to bring the following:

Feathers
Head visors
Hot glue
Favored fabrics
Appliqués
Wire hangers (I'll bring some clippers)
Duck bill clips
Ribbon
Buckram or peltex

More about Holly:
Holly Dai debuted in 2009 alongside the Rose City Shimmy. She founded the very first school in Oregon to teach burlesque and has been teaching since 2010. Notable performances include the Windy City Burlesque Festival; Chicago Illinois, The Great Burlesque Exposition awarded Most Classic 2011; Boston Massachusetts, The Las Vegas Burlesque Festival. Holly Dai has toured the West Coast performing from Seattle WA, Portland OR, Oakland CA, Ventura CA, San Diego CA. She has taught classes for the local Portland belly dance convention JamBallah and has been accepted to teach classes for the national convention for burlesque instruction, BurlyCon.

Cancellation Policies:
If your class is cancelled by the instructor, your payment will be refunded in full as soon as possible. Deposits/registrations are otherwise non-refundable. If you've pre-paid a class or deposit, are unable to attend, and give at least 10 days notice, your tuition may be transferred towards another class by emailing fannygalore@ymail.com. Tuition is non-transferable in the 9 days before a class starts. There are no refunds or makeup classes for absences.
