Rain2River Walk and Boat Tour - MOUNT BAKER
Join DRCC/TAG and partners on the upcoming Rain2River Walk and learn about grey and green infrastructure, sustainable practices, polluted runoff, RainWise Program, and other things you can do to keep the Duwamish River clean; all attendees will get a FREE ticket to go on a Rain2River Boat Tour at a later date.
Meet at Mount Baker Park (3550 S McClellan St. Seattle, WA 98144 - Close to the playground that is located near the Mount Baker Community Club) at 1:30 pm. There is street parking around the area. Bathrooms will be available at Bradner Gardens Park, which will be at our halfway point on the walk. We will be meeting back at the Mount Baker Community Club (2811 Mt Rainier Dr. S Seattle, WA 98144). The walk will be a moderate to slow speed mild hike, with some walking uphill, and 2-3 miles long, and will conclude at 4 pm.
This event is family and pet friendly! There will be free refreshments and snacks! This is an outdoor walking event, so please come prepared for rain or shine.
