Wings of Action
A fundraising event presented by 100 Women Who Care Santa Fe to bring awareness to Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women in New Mexico and for the documentary film She Cried That Day, a story about the brave women on the frontlines of this devastating crisis.
The event takes place before the kickoff of Indian Market on Thursday, August 15th from 5 - 8 pm at Neptune Event Space, 728 Canyon Road in Santa Fe. The evening includes a MMIW panel discussion, a performance by a Native singer/songwriter Ishi, a silent auction including artwork by Native artist Roberta Begaye, a screening of the trailer for She Cried That Day and a Q&A from She Cried That Day's film producer/director, Amanda Erickson of the San Carlos Apache of the White Water Clan.
