The Crying Spell:
There was a time when the goal of just about every rock band was to get a song on the radio. But somewhere along the way, some bands began finding it almost shameful to list that as their top priority. Not The Crying Spell. Hailing from Seattle, this newly formed group is bursting at the seams with songs that automatically stick in your brain and wont let go in other words, songs that would sound absolutely perfect pumping out of your radio. And this is quite evident throughout their debut release, the seven-track EP, Through Hell to Heaven I. I think we have a very different sound from whats on the radio now - a hybrid of many styles, explains the groups singer/guitarist, Len Hotrum. We don't follow anyones formula - it's totally our own, but its still very radio and I think its a fresh sound.

Moneta:
Moneta is a high energy Power-Pop Band from Seattle, Washington that, although made up of the usual assortment of guitars, microphones, keyboards, and drum kits, is much more than simply the sum of its collected parts. And, while the pounding guitars and sing-along choruses provide a familiar point of reference for fans used to the broader "Emo/post-hardcore" genre, Moneta's true strength lies in their ability to create simple, yet classic melodies and build upon them to create a sound and style completely their own. This style and sound draws from the collected influences and inspirations of Moneta's 6 member line-up and is as diverse and unique as the members themselves all the while maintaining a sonic quality that is unmistakably "Moneta".
