Twelve Angry Jurors
Directed by Robert Encila. A diverse group of 12 men and women is empaneled to hear the case of a 16-year-old teenager accused of the murder of his abusive father in the classic drama, TWELVE ANGRY JURORS. The audience never sees the judge, nor the defendant, as the action is centered around the deliberations inside the jury room. The jury includes just about every "type" from the social spectrum. Each brings his/her own baggage to the table, and while the case hinges on a question of reasonable doubt, there are those with their own prejudices who wish to convict the accused in spite. Formation of alliances, reevaluation of testimony, changing opinions and personal revelations all play a part in the jury room drama. The interaction between the 12 men and women whose decision will cause a teenager to either be put to death or spared from execution is heated and deliberate, and the story is powerful and riveting.
