Genius At Work: JULY Fundraising Event Planning Meetup

Event planning can feel very isolating. But you are not doing this work alone. In fact, there are people who are planning nonprofit fundraising events across this city ... and we'd love to introduce you!

Join our Monthly Mastermind and Peer Networking Group. "Genius at Work" is an open and positive space to build best practices, brainstorm, ask questions, and explore solutions together. Bring your curiosity and your challenges, and be ready to share your experiences with others. This monthly meetup is designed for new AND seasoned nonprofit events people who want to:
. get creative juices flowing
. get connected and start talking, laughing and problem-solving together with local nonprofit event folk
. get inspired to make strategic, bold choices as you work on your event
. get empowered to take care of yourself and your team through the whole the process
. create a non-toxic and sustainable approach to your event

Together, we will create an open and positive space where your questions are always welcome! Bring your own current challenges and curiosities for the group to discuss. We will approach event fundraising with an eye towards finding Community Centric Fundraising approaches. Consider this a place to explore and exchange proven best practices, get feedback on your challenges, workshop solutions, prevent problems, and encourage each other.

Alex Martin, founder and event strategy lead at Synchronicity Events, will facilitate this monthly peer support and discussion series.

We will have one meeting each month, on Zoom, during 9 - 5 weekday work hours in Pacific Time. Date and time for each meetup will be announced and registration will open roughly 4 weeks in advance.
