The Wandering Jews: 25th Annual Poets of Tin Pan Alley Concert/Sing-along
Jews fled from the Cossacks, settled in lower Manhattan, and wrote songs reflecting their wanderlust. They may have never traveled south of Staten Island, but they sang praises to Alabama and the Suwanee River. Come hear or sing along with about two dozen songs from the Great American Soingbook.
All the lyrics will be projected; bring your glasses.
We use the modest funds we raise from this annual event to bring these programs to local retirement communities.
