Love Springs Eternal Spoken Word Event
Speak Kauai is a spoken word event highlighting talented authors and writers on Kauai who write and perform provocative and hilarious stories. The theme for our kick off event is Spring and Love, featuring stories about first love, love gone wrong, leaving love behind and having too many lovers. How could so much talent be gathered on our small island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean? Come, laugh and cry....join in our raffles for the opportunity to win our mixed CD of love songs, dinner for two, books by local authors and other hilarious raffles, including a "Tarot" reader in between readings who will tell you if your love is doomed or here to stay.
So much fun, order your blocks of tickets early, because this event will sell out.
Performing will be David Katz, Limor Farber, Hiyuaga Cohen,Lynn Theodose, Judy Tseui, Kat Tepelyan and Laura Lentz, co-host of the weekly Writers Group and writer/ performance artist from Los Angeles.
SPECIAL GUEST STAR FROM L.A. will be Wendy Hammers, actor extraordinaire who has a lot to say about love. See Wendy's show RIPE on the 12th of April at The Church of the Pacific.
