Afroman:
Joseph Edgar Foreman (born July 28, 1974), better known by his stage name Afroman, is an American rapper who came to prominence with his singles "Because I Got High" and "Crazy Rap". "Because I Got High" circulated around the internet before becoming a hit worldwide. He was nominated for a Grammy award in 2002.
Foreman originally started rapping in the eighth grade, when he began recording homemade raps and selling them to his classmates. "The first tape I made was about my eighth-grade teacher," he once recalled. "She got me kicked out of school for sagging my pants, which was a big deal back then. So I wrote this song about her and it sold about 400 copies: it was selling to teachers, students, just about everybody. And I realized that, even though I wasn't at school, my song was at school, so in a way I was still there. All these people would come by my house just to give me comments about how cool they thought the song was." Foreman also performed in his church at a young age, playing both the drums and guitar.

Metaphonia:
Hailing from the mountains of North Carolina, Metaphonia is a mix your brain up, shake your arse down, coagulation of madness sure to bring the willing to their knees! Originally formulated as a trio between bass-bringer Alex Golden, synth-sorcerer Mike Runyon, and beat-lord Jason Burch, the group wanted desperately to add depth to the insanity they had cultivated. Soon after, key-master Jeremiah Brown entered the fray with an arsenal of new tricks and turns up his sleeve to further round the sound that was beginning to pound. The only thing left to do was to put some nasty brass deep into the pocket and blast away onlookers/listeners with the sheer power of wind! And then, as if by the grace of Aeolus, hit-hammerers John Portela, Kendra Warren, Blake Bostain, and Myles Dunder flew in from the night to provide the moving and the shaking that the vibration collection needed so dearly. And thus, the stage was set for a noise-compendium of most epic proportions! With their might, Metaphonia seeks to bend the fabric of your mind, time, and space, with a non-stop mental and physical barrage of pleasure and pandamonium!
