AWA Members July Gathering - Dear Powers That Be...

ArtWorks Alliance is pleased to announce a members-only session with a 'Dear Powers That Be...' exercise, scheduled for 10am on Thursday, 4th July.

This reflective and expressive activity is designed to empower our community by providing a platform to voice your thoughts, concerns, and aspirations regarding the current state and future direction of participatory arts and culture.

The timing of this session is particularly fortuitous, as it coincides with the upcoming General Election. This synchronicity offers us a unique opportunity to collectively address the new ministers for culture and the arts, sharing our visions and advocating for the changes we wish to see in our sector.

During this session, we will:
Reflect on Current Issues: Consider the key challenges and opportunities facing the arts and culture sector.
Articulate Our Collective Voice: Write letters to the incoming minister for culture and the arts, expressing our communitys needs, hopes, and recommendations.
Foster a Shared Vision: Engage in discussions that will help us unify our message and strengthen our collective impact.
