Mindelixir, aka Bill Schimel is a Charlotte, NC based electronic music producer inspired heavily by video games, equal parts sexy and sci fi, born in Wyoming. a bass scientist, founder of Bass Church, influential in the rise of bass music in the SouthEast region of the USA and has performed with artists such as Flying Lotus, Photek, Skream, and Joker.

Apogee:
Astrologists describe Apogee as the point in an orbit most distant from the body being orbited, also known as the furthest or highest point. This is something Jordan Wirthman took into consideration when choosing an artist name, alter ego, and all around focus for the future. With a progressive mindset and reservation for growth, Apogee has found himself what he claims "coming full circle" by following the path he stumbled acrossed in early 2010.
Starting out with a set-up fit for a young, traveling, moderately informed rookie, Apogee quickly grasped the concepts of beat matching, mix dynamics, and overall fundementals in the art of mixing. After 2 years of performing this way it was time to move in a different direction and this took the form of Original Production and Sound Engineering. Through this also came the conversion to the Music Production Software, Ableton. Turning the corner from DJ to Producer has proved a positive role in Apogee's journey, bringing him "full circle" to the roots of his expression.
