Yes You Can Preserving Food
Pickles and Relishes July 24th 2-4pm and 6:30 8:30pm
Learn how to make pickles or pickled products using a quick pack and refrigeration method rather than fermenting for days. Understand the needed ingredients and how the quick fermentation occurs. Relishes add a lot of flavors to a side dish, make a great addition to a burger, or are delicious spooned over fish. Learn about relishes and various ingredients used in them.
Classes will be taught by Sandy Brown, retired WSU Extension Food Safety Emeritus faculty. She has 35 years experience in preserving food safely and helping others do the same. Join her for some informative discussions on how to preserve food easily and safely.
